Esther M. Dixon is Garland County District 3 Justice of the Peace, 3rd term. Esther serves on the Finance, Vice Chairwoman, Human Resources,and Public Health, Welfare, & Safety committees, as well as Garland County Census, Chairwoman and Litter Task Force, Coordinator. Esther is a life-long resident of Hot Springs, a graduate of Hot Springs High School and Southern Tech. Esther has over 25 years of experience in public service providing community service and outreach to Garland County.
Esther works hard putting forth her greatest effort to represent and serve the community of Garland County at large. Esther’s goals include safeguarding and improving Garland County’s public health by championing causes that provide better quality health, improved public safety, and higher education.
Esther’s Community Involvement includes Diamonds in The Rough Women’s Transitional Ministries, Founder, Difference Makers of Hot Springs, Executive Director, UAMS Translational Research Community Partner and Community Advisory Board Member, Hot Springs Toastmasters Club #7643, and a Certified Notary Public.
Esther has numerous recognitions that include Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year, Civitan Citizen of the Year, and Difference Makers of Hot Springs Trailblazer Award.
Esther is married to Terance Dixon, Sr., they have a son Terance Jr. Esther loves spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
